Deb painted first thing (before breakfast!) and Ash cleared up then walked up the road hoping to get 3G signal but failed.
Chatted to neighbours, left about 11.30 for Kilchoan. Even more hairy road, took nearly 2 hours for 26 miles!
Set up on campsite assuming turn up and take a vacant pitch, but van arrived and turned out we needed to book and they were full. Prepared van for wild camping but set off up hill for Ardnamurchan campsite, where they had space for us. Sloping site, tricky access, with pitches of varying ‘ levelness’ – turned out we preferred it to the previous place.
After several days of warm sunshine and wonderful views, rain and strong winds forecast tonight.
