Been looking up stats about “my” surgeon. Looks as if he does about 200 ops per year and has an overall survival rate of about 98%
There is a lot of info on the Care Quality Commission site, and a survival calculator – my chances of not surviving are 3.76%. A bit higher I think mainly because this is my second bypass surgery.
