Cold with a wind – frost expected tonight. Earthed up potatoes, Deb weeded parsnips (see image below) and watered.
I discovered that cultivator had tines fitted backwards ! Changed this and it works much better !!!
Over the last three days we have watered repeatedly (it has been very hot and dry), weeded, put vegimesh over carrots, filled bean trench and hoed.

Spent about 4 hours. Deb sowed additional row of peas and covered with vegemesh.
