Went down 11am – 4pm. Got hot.

Hadnt been feeling well, but battled on.

Moved bean poles.

Moved water butt to bottom of 74, put up brassica net, need to add door.

Forked over brassica area at bottom of 74, scatter blood fish and bone, then cultivated.

Soil surprisingly dry!

Awake 4am – 6am, woke feeling under the weather. Got worse, did a bit of work on John Byrt’s site and did census, but otherwise very little.

Rotavated second potato area and put in four rows: Cara (from Peter), Charlotte, Kestrel and Orla.

Deb finished moving stuff at bottom from 73.

Mid morning – 4pm. Deb came down with lunch.

Finished digging and manuring potato area, forked more of brassica area. Cultivated fruit row. Moved blackberry and Deb moved some raspberries, and moved more bits and pieces from 73.

Put in two rows of Charlotte potatoes on 74.

Moved some of our stuff at the bottom of 73 onto 74.

Started preparing 74 for raspberries, blackberry and rhubarb. Made quite a lot of progress.

Spoke to Ken about move to Peter’s allotment which he plans giving up in the autumn, seems OK.

Used cultivator on section on 74, and put in Rocket potatoes. Deb put in onions on no-dig bed on 73

Had dug a section in net for potatoes, but too wet still to cultivate.
