This morning. Dealt with by the nurse who will take the veins from my legs for the grafts.
Quite by chance it emerged that her father was in the army, she was born at BMH Rinteln (our children went to weekly-boarding school in Rinteln, nearby), and she knew places we remember. Small world.
She was pretty up-beat and we got a feeling of competence and confidence – very reassuring.
I had overdone it yesterday – lovely weather, and we spent the morning on the allotment and I got carried away in the garden in the afternoon, weeding, watering etc. Feeling pretty awful later, but better today. I don’t learn …
We have strawberries ripening in the garden and will probably be eating them over the weekend 🙂
We’ll be thinking of you on Tuesday .. in the meantime take things easy (if you can!)
