Fair to begin with but cold.
Put caravan battery on charge for four hours using external charger, hopefully that will keep us going for a few days. Plan to buy fan heater to save power running internal heating fan.
Chatted to our new English neighbours – they have problems with their 10-year old Nissan X-Trail. Misfiring Diesel engine, has had similar in past and eventually stopped. May be blocked filter or water in system. Car recovered to Nissan agent. They have an old Conway trailer tent, not my idea of luxury this time of year.
Went for walk locally before rain started, quite heavy this pm. Neighbours came over for chat – both originally chemists, he retired forensic scientist, she retired chem teacher. Their four children all seem to have chem or other scientific quals, and one doctor.
Will visit workshop tomorrow to check on progress (hopefully not lack of it), then take it from there.
