About 18 hours of rain Thurs/Fri, around 45mm in total – very welcome and everything has perked up enormously.
Spent about 5 hours there yesterday – Deb put in leek plants (4 rows, nearly 100 plants), and I dug former broad bean area ready for cultivator and then late potatoes.
Some cherries ready, though birds may have taken some already.
