Left home around midday, via Sainsbury’s, lunch at Temple, arrived around 3.30pm. Weather reasonable. Problem getting onto grass pitch, moved to hard standing. David and Chris Burley arrived shortly after us. Chatted over meal in evening and played Rummicub.

Didn’t wake until 9.07!!! Rushed and got going soon after 10am. Walked to Mevagissey, coffee and cake in small café then walked on to Pentewan along coast path. Tea and cake, then walked back via direct route to campsite. Very tired, meal and chat, then bed.

Up earlier (!), David and Chris left for family engagement. We walked via Mevagissey (met dog/children walker with Lab/Kelpe cross dogs) to Portmellon, and had coffee and pasties ! Very tired so didn’t go any further. Returned to site, very very tired. Bed early! I had stomach pain in night (XS acid).

Prepared to go to Charlestown by bus but got pinged re Covid contact. Booked tests in Exeter and packed up and drove home. Good journey though a fair amount of traffic. Went for tests which subsequently proved negative!
