Left home yesterday, 12 noon, arrived Greenbarn CL 3.40pm. Plain hardstanding. Early to bed to be up for ferry from Portsmouth – Caen tomorrow.
Up 5.30am ! Pork pie for breakfast, threw away all milk/meat products as not allowed to import into France. Off to ferry at 6.30am, bit of a confusing journey due to road closure and Google trying to take us to the middle of the harbour, in the water.
Ferry left 8.30, had cabin, relaxed. Arrived 3pm (French time), long 1 hour) fiddly journey to Arromanches les Bains. Large car park with spaces for campers overlooking the sea (D Day beaches).
BT SIM not working, spent some time trying to fix, but no success.
