Disturbed night in car park in Gernika – seems to be drop-off point for minibuses with youngsters, who stood around talking loudly till after midnight, then a couple of cars with youngsters talking. Not a good night!
Walked to “Museo de la Paz” and spent 2 hours there – very thought-provoking!
Had coffee and lunch in van and debated how far to go, and decided on Viana, only about 100kms. Zaragoza is too far in the time we have. On the way “oil low” light came on, stopped in next stopping place and checked and oil level OK. Drove on and it didn’t reappear.
Arrived Viana about 16:10, cup of tea and then short walk along “El Camino” amidst sunset and autumn colours of trees and vines.
The town is an old hill-town, but we are next to sport field and complex, close to modern “terraced” houses. Look very good inside but outlook a bit regimented.
